Stuck as Caterpillars

I've been there. I've been you.

Now, get out of my way.

Some people think what I've written about has been "weird."

That's fine, they just don't get it.

But I get where they are. They are stuck.

Stuck in the past. Stuck holding onto things that have happened growing up.

​To ways they have been raised.

They are stuck because instead of trying to get through and let them go, they continue trying to hold on.

What are you holding onto? Do you want to be miserable? Do you want to make everyone around you miserable?

We are all adults with the capability of changing EVERYTHING and ANYTHING within our own lives.

Yes, habits and ways we have been taught in childhood are deeply ingrained in us.

I never said change is or would be easy.

But saying, "it is what it is" is just an excuse for you not take accountability in your life TODAY.

It's an excuse to never change, to never get or become better.

You have to let go.

You don't have to be your past. You don't have to continue or even recreate ​ what your parents gave you.

YOU GET TO CHOOSE.

If you are unhappy or in any kind of way and not changing anything then, YOU are choosing it.

A caterpillar has to let go of being that in order to become a beautiful butterfly.

If they tried to refuse or decided to stay where they are, they would get stuck in the cocoon and essentially die.

Is that what you want?

Because if you aren't growing, improving, or moving forward...you're getting stuck in the same place, with the same life and negativity mentality. And therefore, you're dying.

I've been there. I've been you.

So yeah, I do know.

And I choose to be better, to move forward, and my future. As happy as I can prepare it to be.

How "weird" is my message now?
