Quit Dooming Yourself to Failure

Erin

Quit dooming yourself to failure.

It does not and will not ever matter what anyone else says. Ever.

It only matters what you say to yourself.

What you believe about yourself.

And honestly, there are actually more people out here who'd love to see you succeed vs fail.

While you need to put blinders on to obtain your goals at times, you definitely should take off any tunnel vision when it comes to your crappy environment around a failing environment.

But the key is, YOU have to want to succeed.

YOU have to believe that you can.

And then, go find those people who love to be in your corner.

Who loves to show you the highest potential you can be.

And then help you get there.

You know, I almost died a few times as a baby.

And then a couple more times within my childhood.

That didn't stop me from giving up anything.

No, I didn't have any sort of "newfound appreciation for life" every time either.

In fact, I had a lot of depression and doubts.

But I kept going.

And even now, as I work on becoming as strong as I have inside, outside, I procrastinate as I stand over the bar.

I think, "This is going to be heavy. I will probably drop it, if not even get it off the ground."

But why?

Why would I doom myself to failure before I even try?

I've been putting in all of this hard work for so long and I tell myself I won't do it.

Nobody else is chirping in my ear or my brain.

It's crazy.

There's absolutely no reason for it.

Nobody will be mad if I pull 250# deadlifts this year. I absolutely know this.

So today, I stopped it.

While I had to tell myself to slow the pull down, a quick little voice started to tell me I wasn't going to make it, but I stopped them and told myself instead "UP, UP, UP!"

and I went up.

And then I did it again.

Because what I needed then was reinforcement of evidence.

And I got it.

I ain't no failure.

And neither are you.

Stop holding yourself back.

If you still need help with this, message me.

I got you 🫶🏻
