One of the best things for me to see is when someone finally experiences something or everything, I've seen in them from the beginning. But now, they get to see the result for themselves and thankfully, I get to see them react to it. Whether it's absolute happiness or newfound confidence, it's such a proud moment for me.
The flip side is, when it's people who push away from me for whatever reason. And sometimes I know that reason is said to be me, but let's be real - it's always yourself. You have the choice who to keep close, and who to push away.
But whether that reason is because I did try to show you what I've seen and you were never quite ready yet, or you just chose to stay comfortable in your own chaos, I've always chosen to be the cheerleader. The supporter. The clapper, encourager, the uplifter. Near or far, I'll find a corner and quietly stand for you. Because unconditional love and loyalty means having no reason to leave. No reason not to clap, no reason not to be genuinely happy when others succeed.
Sure, we all should better ourselves and that might mean taking a pause with some things. But when someone is truly important to you, does big things in life, you shouldn't just sit on the sidelines. You shouldn't be silent. And when you pick and choose what to clap for, that's conditional too. That's not real friendship or relationships.
I will always clap for you. Even when it's dark and quiet in my own turn. Because that's exactly what I don't want anyone else to feel.
So, thank all of you who are reading this, who choose not to clap for me, or who have decided to stop. You don't need to understand why I'm doing the things I am without asking or continuing to judge me. You are teaching me what I don't want, and who I never want to be. But you're also teaching me that I'm on the right path, because you won't stop peeping. And that's OK too.
Maybe someday you'll find the courage to grow out of your box. Stop being bitter and learn that everything holding you back is within YOU.
