A little reminder for anyone who needs it today. We are ending the first week of the year, so while there may be some heavy expectation from ourselves to be "go-getters" and "ambition whippers," let me be the one to say it again:
It's OK to feel overwhelmed or a little lost right now, and if you feel like crying - just do it! Anyone who insinuates that you're weak for doing so, I guarantee that they are more miserable than they will ever let on. You do not cry for them, cry for YOU. Nobody else has the right to dictate what or how you can feel better. Because once you do, I bet you will not only feel lighter and better, but you will know exactly what you need to do to move forward.
Continue to seek that clarity, even through tears.
You will be stronger, I promise.
